BALLOON HAT FESTIVAL!!
o5th June 2005... rmmber e date coz it is the dae when spore breaks the record of "the most ppL marchin wearin a balloon hat on their head!!" N Junyuan Symphonic Band helps to do it!! haha!!
it's e first time JYSB participated in a kinda big event like dis... N we rawK.. haha!! although we was kinda small.. sendin bout 50+ members.. bt we did well!! N iM proud of it!!
in e morn.. reach dere.. rest 4 awhile.. drink up... den we were gettin ready for our music pRformance at water feature.. near siloso beach... we performed aft e TITANS.. haha!! woa!! their Drumline was soOo impressive!! wootx!! wen we performed.... haha!! nt tht gD lah... cz we were quite small N ouR soun wasnt tht big... aftr tht... sell N twist some balloons... haha!! den chat2 wit mY fav teacher mz leow... hahakx!! was kinda happy she came... loLx!! aft dat... we rested at ouR holdin area... ate our snacKx.. den we did ouR balloon Dsign... aft tht... reheasrse fer awhile wit mR poh.. hahaKx! den back to do balloon Dsign... den bout 5+... we marched to e OPEL site.. e startin line of wher we goin to march... hahakx!!
wen we started marchin.. bhind TITANS.. aftr dey finished playin their 1st song.. we den played ouRs... "Disney Magic Kingdom cum Its A Small World" haha!! we really had fun... den come ouR fav song for e momment... our 2nd song... "FINAL COUNTDOWN!!" aftr few bars... i threw e mace up!! whch we did not rehearse... haha! N i caught it!! hahaKx!! it really brought up my sprit!! haha!! cz at firz i didnt noe whether to do or not... bt i did!! hahaKx!! den lastly... we played ouR Finale.. "Rock N Roll Xplosion" hahaKx!! N we did Xplode... wif ouR gimmicKs... N we dance we trance!! woOoHoo!! loLx!! we really had fun...
aftr both TITANS N JYSB finished... we oL join tgther in cheerin e other bands tht is comin in... den wen oL e band finished marchin... oL of us hear e msg dat is given by e guest oF honour... den drumroll... N evr1 pop their balloon hats!! hahaKx!! den TITANS played oL their songs.. fr 'encore' dey played their "I Will Survive" hahakx!! e song dat i like most out of their 3 pieces... den JYSB olso did played 'Final Countdown" hahakx!! did had a great deal oF happiness N "funnest" lolx!!
wen we were marchin back... we olzo played songs... back to back wit Fajar band... haha!! whoa!! really dnnoe how to dscribe e joy now!!
